Wedding Date: August 1, 2015
Location: Austin, TX
Bride’s Name: Harsha Mistry
Groom’s Name: Rajiv Satyal
Love and laughter were the main themes of Rajiv Satyal and Harsha Mistry’s Texas-sized, over-the-top Austin wedding. The couple had a two-day Hindu wedding affair.
Previously a Procter & Gamble marketing executive and now a celebrity comedian, Rajiv proposed to Harsha while opening for Kevin Nealon at the Funny Bone comedy club. From the very start, the couple knew that their wedding would be a wonderful celebration with family and friends, and they wanted to add unique and funny touches to personalize it. Therefore, they enlisted The Blueprint Events to carefully craft their multi-day wedding extravaganza!
Several of Rajiv’s friends from the comedy world were in attendance, including actor Ed Weeks from “The Mindy Project” and fellow comedian Russell Peters, who performed a comedy set, and even took over the DJ’s turntables to play music, while Rajiv joked during his wedding speech, “I finally got him to open for me.”
