East Meets Dress features Asian wedding attire cut in modern silhouettes for both women and men. Founded by Jenn Qiao and her bestfriend / Maid of Honor Vivian Chan after Jenn struggled to find a wedding cheongsam and Chinese tea ceremony supplies that spoke to her western aesthetic. From luxurious silks and lace to gold-embroidered taffeta, most dresses are found in the traditional colors of red, but can also be in other colors like purple, blue or white. Traditional details like a Mandarin collar and Pankou Knots are retained in the dresses, but stylish embellishments and cuts make each style decidedly more appealing to a younger generation.
