Priyank Chopra and Nick Jona’s wedding weekend continues in India. The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is the perfect setting for the action-packed weekend the couple has planned. The Jodhpur Fairytale Wedding, was conceptualized, visualized and designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla of KHOSLA JANI. The next event was the royal sangeet on the lawns of the Umaid Bhawan. The sangeet was held after the Christian ceremony on Saturday evening. Their Hindu wedding ceremony was held on Sunday.
Millions of fairy lights and mirror installations lit up the Umaid Bhavan grounds to create an enchanted wonderland. It was as if the sky and earth danced as one to celebrate this union. Glamour at its most luminescent!
The couple was dressed and styled by the designer duo for their Sangeet too. The Jonas brothers rocked the sangeet in AJSK MAN by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla as well. Nick looked princely in a midnight blue front open jacket with thread embellishments. Our “Desi Girl” wore a stunning sequined sari in gold and silver.
The night was full of song and dance from both Nick and Priyanka’s families. Each dance off segment was an over the top production like a scene out of a Bollywood movie.
The Hindu wedding ceremony was held on Sunday and both Nick and Priyanka looked stunning in their Indian wedding attire. Priyanka was a Sabyasachi bride in a hand made lengha choli with french embroidery. Sabyasachi created this one of a kind ensemble to reflect Priyanka’s style. The waist band on her lengha included Nick’s name and her parents names in Hindi. A 16- carat diamond tika by Chopard was the highlight of Priyanka’s wedding jewelry. The groom was in a bronze sherwani and turban. His look was completed by Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection. The couple chose Christian Louboutin shoes to complete their wedding look.
