November 12, 2014, New York City: Brazilian jewelry label Hueb recently opened a flagship store on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The store was opened in partnership with Soigne Kothari, the fashion maven behind the now closed Soigne K. boutique in the space of her former store. “My family business is jewelry, and we partnered with Hueb on this project.”
Hueb was founded by Fádua Hueb who initially would sell jewelry to her friends in Uberaba, Brazil in the 1970’s. Not sursprisingly, many of the stones from this contemporary collection are from Brazilian mines with some of the workmanship being finished in India. The current collection includes elegantly crafted and intricately designed rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
The Grand Opening celebration was held at the boutique located on 717 Madison Avenue. Music was provided by Hannah Bronfman.
