“I have so much knowledge with being in the industry for 10 years. I want to share my knowledge and help brides with this stressful time, which really should be much more enjoyable,” says Sonal at her recent book launch held at the JW Marriott Essex House in Manhattan.
Sonal adds that the book took her seven years to write since she wanted the information to be a detailed as possible. The book covers every aspect of South Asian weddings from menus to invitations, Mehndis to Sangeets, ceremonies to receptions. Her inspiration for the book was “just a general desire to see a book that is current and useful. It was my way of sharing experiences and a logical way to plan a South Asian wedding.”
